There are many different possible wordings when it comes to explaining the law of attraction, but basically what it all boils down to is the idea that whatever you have in your life right now, you have attracted in some way. This is a concept used frequently in subjective situations, and many might be surprised to find out that the law of attraction is actually derived from actual concept in physics.

For starters, both the law of attraction and quantum physics agree that everything is composed of energy, from the tangible objects around us to abstract concepts like thoughts or spirits. A deeper analysis of the law of attraction would show that it is based upon the idea that the energy in us constantly vibrates, creating varied frequencies of wavelengths that are emitted non-stop from our bodies.

Since this vibration never stops, it means that we are actually always attracting similar frequencies to what is emanating from our bodies. This explains why we often attract like-minded people who share many of our ideas and emotions about particular issues in life. In the same way, if you are emitting negative emotions, the same kind of negative frequency will go back to you.

Using these concepts, you can actually improve your life considerably just by making an active effort of using the law of attraction to your advantage. To do this, you have to fill up your mind with the happiest thoughts you can muster and block out all negativity, because this will only attract negative things to your life. Instead, focus on the good things that you already have, and more good things will soon come your way.

As your vibrations become stronger, you can attract more similar signals. This is why when you are at a higher emotional state, you will seem to be more charismatic and have a stronger aura, making people feel naturally compelled to listen and pay attention to whatever you are saying or doing. The downside to this is that if you are experiencing intense negative feelings, this will attract more negativity as well. That is simply how the law of attraction works.

Experts in the science of physics have conducted countless studies that concentrate on the law of attraction, and practically all of them have concluded that there is in fact a valid scientific proof that this law can and does affect the outcome of a person’s life.

Laws are created to govern various aspects of our lives. However, most laws come with loopholes that we can use to our advantage.

When it comes to catching someone’s attention, there are several acceptable methods that have been created by our society over time. Many social circles consider these rules to be the standards or norms that every individual must strictly adhere to. In other cultures, the boundaries are much more relaxed, and it is considered perfectly fine for people to interact freely with each other and develop their own individual laws of attraction. As a rule, these rules are not really set in stone. In fact, they can change frequently, always conforming to the varying needs of the people involved.

The balance between supply and demand is probably the largest contributing factor in determining the laws of attraction in a particular place and time. Simply put, if there is a considerably larger number of men than women in a room, the women will definitely have the advantage of being able to be pickier in selecting a partner. However, in the real world, this kind of imbalance will not work, and will only lead to the death of a race or species.

Linking people’s relationships to concepts more familiarly found in high school economics or business management courses may sound totally ludicrous, but when you take a closer look at it, you will find that the link is completely valid. There will always be a supply and demand principle at work as people continue to find mates all over the world. However, with the extremely high human population today, there is no foreseen problem of a dying human race due to insufficient supply. This is an issue that is more apparent in the world’s endangered and protected species of animals and plants as well.

If you have been having a hard time finding that perfect person to grow old with, it might be because you haven’t been making proper use of the laws of attraction. Now might be the time to change your strategies. Take advantage of the balance between supply and demand and you just might find your ideal mate sooner than you think.

The Law of Attraction, positive thinking or whatever you want to call it, works on the premise that we’re capable of determining what we have and how we live with the power of our psychic energy.

It’s a scientifically proven fact that mankind uses only about 6% of our brains. Albert Einstein supposedly used 10% of his. That leaves an awful lot of untapped brain power.

Consider what we’ve accomplished with the little bit of brain power we’ve been using since the dawn of man. Is it so hard then to consider the possibilities of what we could achieve?

The idea is that we’re able to direct our mental abilities, our thoughts toward our goals and desires and obtain them.

Granted this ability isn’t something that’s easily obtained. Most people have spent their lives under the impression that the world affects them. Not the other way around.

It’s a generally held belief that if fate is determined by us, it’s through our actions and not our thoughts. But aren’t our thoughts the basis of our actions?

If our thoughts cause us to act, and that action results in obtaining our goal, can we not say our thoughts were responsible for the results? The results of our actions are determined by our thoughts. Whether they’re conscious or not, our thoughts do determine what and who we are.

A mentor is someone that is going to influence your life and it can be beneficial or detrimental to your goals depending on the one that you use. A person that has good character is going to be the right choice for you so that you can have success in the field that you believe in the most. You may want to have a second mentor to help you become even more successful in the things that you do.

You will find that you can make different decisions about certain things in life and all that you do when you have the right type of mentor to help you with your choices.

The law of attraction will apply to many when there is a mentor involved. Using the right skills and thoughts that you have in life can help you become a better and more efficient person in all that you do and so much more. Figure out what you want out of life and then go after the good things. With the help of a mentor, you will be able to see things more clearly and get a better picture of who you need to be and what you should figure out.

Having the right knowledge about certain things can help you with your goals in life. Think about where you want to be and how you want to get there. Are you doing everything that you can to be the person that you have dreamed of becoming? If so, you will find it much easier to be proficient in all the things that you do and so much more. Finding the right person to guide you through hard choices and offer advice in the areas where you need it the most can be a very helpful tool when it comes to life choices.

The one thing that you should make sure of is that your mentor is a person that offers good character. You want to achieve, as much success you want in life and the only way to really do this is to apply the law of attraction and find good mentors in life that will help you become the goal-oriented person that you want to become. It is all part of life and the things that you want to do. Be sure of the goals that are important to you and all the things that you think about. When you are thinking about the things that you want in life you will find it to be easier to get what you want and be more successful in life.

An active mind is a healthy mind, so keeping your mind sharp is a good portion of aging well and living a better life as you grow older. If you continue to challenge and engage your brain with activities such as continued learning and healthy dieting you can maintain your healthy brain. Some activities like completing daily crossword puzzles or learning a hobby, or maybe exploring a new language will add content and continued exercise of the brain.

Expanding your horizons daily and engaging in activities that require you to think on your feet and assess information quickly and accurately will make a world of difference as you grow older. Sometimes it may take a little more effort than it used to require, but continuing to stretch your brain muscles will definitely pay off in good memory and cognitive skills.

Brain masses shrink a little as you get into your sixties, with some areas shrinking more than others like the frontal lobe which is the area of the brain that handles mental abilities, and the hippocampus where memories are formed. Thinning of the brain in the area of the cortex, and decreases in white matter are some reasons why brain disorders occur in the elderly. Changes in these areas are what slow down the cognitive processing which handle decision making, problem solving, and attention. All of which have a tendency to fade as you grow older, unless you continue to exercise these areas by forming new memories daily and allowing for a good intake of new information. With this said, aging is not a decline of brain activity.

In fact the brain grows stronger and sharper as long as you continue to use it. For example; if you were an avid reader in your younger years and you continue to be a voracious reader into your golden years the rate of speed that you read and the amount of information that you are able to process as you read will increase as in “practice makes perfect,” you are actually getting better with time. Most of our abilities normally get better with time, including wisdom and problem solving skills. Keep in mind that other illnesses and ailments may contribute to any decline in the normal activity in the brain.

Simple things, like more formal education, can contribute to intellectual stimulation of the brain and may ever strengthen the brain cell networks to help in preventing mental function damage. Physical activity has always been know to have positive effects on the brain and brain functioning. Getting into an aerobic regime is the best for continued brain health as oxygen is free flowing and throughout the body and is particularly beneficial to the brains proper functioning. Having a good sense of self and knowing that the things that you do in life make a difference and believing that you are contributing to the common good has shown to reduce cognitive decline in older adults.

So to slow down the effects of the degenerative parts of the brain it would be wise to learn to concentrate and make an honest effort to pay attention. Stay organized and don’t rush, so that you are able to focus on the tasks that you are attempting. The all time favorite is repetition. Also, try your best to stay as stress free as possible as tension causes some types of memory lapses. Those senior moments can turn into senior memories if you continue to exercise your brain. So do whatever it takes to preserve your mental agility, and keep happy even as you enter your older years. When you look at the attitudes of older people, you see either depressed people, or extremely happy and satisfied people. Try to leave yourself in the latter category.

Your personal relationships are vital to your happiness. You do not want to fill your life with hate and people that bring you down. You in fact want to keep the people that make you happiest and give you the motivation that you are looking for in life. When you are serious about having a good relationship with someone you need to use the law of attraction to make it work.

The law of attraction is going to show you how to have fun with those around you. When you are looking for someone to share your feeling with and to laugh and love with you want to use the law of attraction to find just the right person. There are so many differences in people and sometimes this is not a bad thing. When you are looking to make a relationship better, you will need to make sure that you are doing everything to be more motivated with your personal relationships.

Listen to your inner feelings. When you are listening to your instincts, you will feel more confident in the decisions that you are making. You have to be confident in who you are and what you want in life. Being prepared for life and all that can come your way is important. Figure out what you want and then go for it. Letting the law of attraction help you be more successful in your personal life will be one way to get to where you need to be.

Believe in who you are and what you do in life. There are so many things that you can do to ensure that you are happy with your relationships. If you find yourself in a bad relationship that makes you feel uncomfortable, you need to think about the law of attraction and what it can do for you. Being confident in what you deserve is important. You need to remember that you are valuable and that you deserve the very best. Get out there and make your life just what you want and so much more.

Figure out what you want to change if anything about your personal relationships. Is everything, as you want it to be? Are there problems that make it hard for you to love the person that you are in a relationship with? Never settle for anything less than what you deserve. You are the only one that is in control of your life and the relationships that you are in. Be composed and in control of your life. This is going to make you feel great and give you the encouragement that you need to be happy in life with your personal relationships.

Remember that you are the only one that can make decisions for yourself. You need to know that you are the one that knows what is best for you. The law of attraction is going to help you figure out who you are and what you need in life. This law is going to be something that shows you how to be more confident in what you do and who you are. When you are positive all the time and think about the things that you want it is going to give you strength that is needed to make your personal life better and more fulfilled.

The Law of Attraction can be explained as “like attracts like”. Everything that exists in our lives is a reflection of our own consciousness. Our lives are our thoughts made manifest. What you are experiencing in your life right now are your thoughts and beliefs being made manifest. Negativity attracts like experiences for us to experience. The universe allows us to experience our own negativity by reflecting it back at us so that we can learn from it and evolve.

Whether you believe an experience to be positive or negative, the Law of Attraction is always neutral and will create that reality for you regardless. The Law of Attraction will respond to our positive thoughts and beliefs by manifesting the things that we most desire.

In order to consciously apply the law of attraction to transform your life you need to take responsibility as it is you and nobody else who has created your life. That includes the things that you don’t like and that you might even blame other people for. Instead of blaming other people and situations for the things you dislike, become aware that they are simply the manifestation of negative thoughts and beliefs. They are the mirror in which the universe allows you to see the things in yourself that you are least fond of so that you can learn to change those things and evolve from the experience.

The universe is a field of vibration energy. Your thoughts are energy and negative thoughts vibrate more slowly than positive thoughts. These vibrations of energy attract similar vibrations. You can think of yourself as being like a TV set. A television tunes into different channels which are simply energy vibrating within a range of frequencies. Think of different experiences that you can have, both positive and negative as all occupying different channels. If you wish to have experiences that are not currently resonating with your frequency, then you have to tune your thoughts to match. Worrying about money tunes you into the channel that broadcasts experiences of financial difficulties. Knowing and believing beyond all doubt that you are wealthy already, is the most focused way of tuning perfectly into the wealth frequency channel.Things aren’t usually as black and white as just switching between channels.

It’s very difficult to stay positive or negative all the time and our energy will be the sum total of all our experiences both positive and negative. So most of the time our lives will be a mix of positive and negative experiences. But using the law of attraction we can learn to attract more of the positive experiences that we would like to have. Understanding the law of attraction enables us to see the negative experiences in a different light. There is no need to fear negative experiences if we welcome them as challenges and opportunities for change.

Many of the books and films about the Law of Attraction tend to over simplify the process and make it seem as though all you have to do to attract a life of wealth, health and happiness is to simply change your thoughts. Changing your thoughts is a conscious decision, but your subconscious mind can often be far more powerful than your conscious mind.At a subconscious level you may well be holding onto deep rooted beliefs and fears that have a greater influence over what you attract than you consciously realize. Then there is your old friend the ego who will often challenge your efforts by telling you how irrational this ridiculous Law of Attraction really is. I feel that the law of attraction is as much about letting go and healing these subconscious mind patterns as it is about adopting a positive attitude.

At work and at home, people form relationships in which they depend upon one another. Family life can be rocky or smooth depending on the ability of spouses and family members to divide the necessary home duties and follow through on their individual responsibilities. Relationships between co-workers also involve a level of trust that each member of the business team will contribute an adequate amount of work to a given assignment. In both of these circumstances, one person’s failure to do a fair share of the work can be devastating to the effectiveness of the family or work group and can also hinder people from trusting one another. Therefore, when procrastination becomes a significant influence in a person’s habits, both the practical and the emotional sides of the person’s family and work relationships will suffer.

In home relationships, there is always a largish quantity of work that needs to be accomplished in order for the family to run smoothly. Periodic tasks might include maintenance on a home or on appliances, work in the yard, laundry, cleaning, washing dishes, cooking, keeping a vehicle or vehicles in working order, and child care. Whenever any of these chores are neglected for a significant amount of time, the household will be incapable to function effectively. In cases where one family member gets behind in chores, especially due to a reasonable situation like an illness or the need to work extra hours at a job, other family members will probably be happy to work around the slowdown and even pick up the excess chores temporarily. However, while a family member habitually procrastinates for prolonged periods of time and leaves his or her contribution of house work undone, other family members may begin to resent the chores being left unfinished and being weighted down with the added work. The situation can be especially tense if the procrastinator uses entertainment or games as a procrastination device, watching television or playing computer games while the other members of the household struggle with more than their share of chores. Regardless of whether the procrastinator is a spouse, parent, youngster, sibling or in-law, only an end to the procrastination and a responsible quantity of work will remedy the strain that procrastinating can cause in a family.

In a business environment, procrastination can be similarly destructive. People who work regularly spend a majority of their time during the day with their co-workers, and the relationships between business team members are a crucial part of the social lives of professionals. When one member of a business team is a chronic procrastinator, the other team members often need to shoulder the procrastinator’s share of work to meet deadlines. And once members of the team each have a precise field of work, one person’s procrastination can leave the others unable to get the information they need to complete their own assignments. Resentments, distrust and hostility may result, particularly in cases where the entire team misses out on a bonus or other reward due to one member’s procrastination habits. And as in the case of procrastination in the family, the only true technique to improve the situation is for the procrastinator to consider whatever organizational and time management steps are necessary to accomplish a fair amount of work.

Many choices in life involve a trade-off or a balance. When there is not enough time, money or energy to accomplish everything you want to do, you will have to choose your priorities carefully, knowing that each pursuit leaves you less time and fewer resources for another goal or interest. However, in the midst of life’s difficult choices, one decision is very simple from an analytical perspective. Whereas many activities have both positive and negative aspects, procrastination is one activity that consumes your time and energy while contributing nothing to your ultimate quality of life. For this reason, even a small amount of consideration should convince you to eliminate procrastination from your life. Yet this habit is not always easy to break, and even the best intentions to stop procrastinating may not be successful. A few hints, and a little bit of effort, can assist breaking the habit of procrastination, allowing you to spend your time with more worthwhile pursuits.

One of the skills that can be extremely helpful in ending procrastination is the ability to prioritize. Not all activities are equally essential, and it is thinkable to waste time while actually appearing to get matters finished. In order to avoid procrastinating on your most important tasks, it may be helpful to make a list of all the things you want to accomplish this week. Without making any distinctions between important and insignificant tasks, brainstorm a list of a week’s worth of goals. Once you think you have everything you need put down, either number the items in order by importance from most crucial to least necessary, or group the items into high-, medium- and low-priority sections. Try to identify your three most important tasks for the week and list on your calendar the things you will need to do in order to successfully complete them. Then you’ll be able to focus on these most significant tasks, keeping the less momentous ones for the time that is left over. Once you have got into the habit of prioritizing your week, move on to prioritizing by month and then by periods of three months.

Another important step in overcoming procrastination is to make sure that you see your ultimate goals in terms of the small steps that you will need to take. By breaking down complicated tasks into manageable stages, each with its own mini-deadline, you will prevent yourself from procrastinating in the belief that your goal is impossible regardless of what you do. In addition, the shorter amounts of time between deadlines will prevent you from procrastinating because a deadline seems so distant that you have all the time in the world. You may find that you are no longer tempted to procrastinate with your important goals when you know what you’ll need to do to accomplish them and exactly how long it will take. Once you have taken these steps to end procrastination, you may find yourself easily accomplishing tasks that once seemed almost impossible.

When faced with an unpleasant or daunting task, either in personal or professional activities, many people can be tempted to procrastinate. Some procrastination takes the form of dismissing the unpleasant task as something to be done later and then putting it out of mind. At other times, procrastination occurs by wasting one’s time with meaningless pursuits, games and amusements. To complicate matters, not every form of procrastination can be easily dismissed as purely wasted time. For business people and office workers who handle a variety of related tasks every day, certain types of work can actually function as a tool for procrastination. In some cases, tasks that are smaller, simpler, or that might easily be delegated to an intern are used as a diversion from important, complicated, intimidating tasks.

Implications For Time-Management and Prioritizing Skills

In order to work effectively, people need the ability to budget their time. In the typical professional environment, people are given more work than they can realistically handle within normal working hours. Even people with a reasonable workload could improve their business prospects by taking on additional tasks or taking time to make aspects of their work more efficient. For all of these reasons, it is extremely important to be able to manage one’s time successfully. Effective time management takes the ability to weigh the amount of time free against the tasks that need to be actioned and to decide on a schedule for completing the undertakings. Unfortunately, procrastination interferes with the ability to budget time by inflating the amount of time needed to reach a certain milestone or level of completion. For this reason, repeated procrastination can be seen as a sign that an individual lacks the ability to set his or her own time management goals or lacks the discipline to adhere to those goals.

In situations where multitasking is required, procrastination could also be a sign of failure to properly organize priorities. Allowing trivial tasks to take time and energy away from more important goals indicates either an inability to recognize the most important tasks or a lack of concern about whether the most important goals are accomplished in a timely fashion. However, a failure to prioritize might not be entirely the procrastinator’s fault. An employee who does not have enough information to form an overall picture of his or her employer’s goals might not have the perspective to prioritize effectively and might therefore end up wasting time on trivial goals believing that they are important.

It should be remembered that, while occasional procrastination might signal some sort of underlying problem, it is not necessarily a sign of a character flaw or skill deficit. For example, a lack of motivation due to a real or perceived shortcoming in the reward for good time management could be at the root of procrastination. One example of this might be a work environment in which an employee receives the same compensation regardless of whether his or her deadlines are met. This could result from a poor performer realizing that procrastination is routinely tolerated, but it could also result from a high performer perceiving that outstanding time management is never rewarded. In a work environment, instances of procrastination can reveal overall communication and employee relations issues as well as the underlying issues of individual employees.
